US ORIGINALS

Volcanos Storm Warning Arctic M- 15

Philadelphia classic by the group who never made an ordinary record.

Soul Brothers Six You Better Check Yourself Atlantic VG+ 10

Yet another stomper from the lads, one of their best in my opinion.

Masqueraders How Big Is Big Bell VG- 20

Popular modern room tune over the last few years. Lots of crackles but you might just get away with it.

Junior Wells I Can't Stand No Signifying Blue Rock VG++ 10

This bloke's catalogue is jam packed with proper R&B dancers & this track is no exception.

Artistics Hope We Have Brunswick VG++ 15

Ever popular oldie, you can't get sick of stuff like this.

Lou Courtney Tryin' To Find My Woman Buddah demo M- 60

Deservedly enjoying a bit of a comeback so copies will start to dry up.

Joy Lovejoy In Orbit Checker VG 35

Club standard loved by one and all. Plays acceptably with the volume turned up.

Gwen McCrae Lead Me On Columbia VG 20

3 mm edge crack producing a few ticks at the start but otherwise not affecting play.

Inez & Charlie Foxx I Ain't Going For That Dynamo demo M- 10

Take your pick "Undecided" is just as good a dancer as the top side.

Danny White Miss Fine Miss Fine Frisco VG+ 40

Typical Danny White outing, stomping all the way round the dancefloor.

Marv Johnson I Miss You Baby (How I Miss You) Gordy VG+ 20

Excellent Motown/NS,not often seen listed these days.

Delores Hall Good Lovin' Man Keymen VG+ 15

A bit rarer with the green as opposed to black lettering label version.

Bobbettes Happy Go Lucky Me Mayhew M- 15

Alternative slightly more midtempo version of the in-demand RCA release.

Bob & Earl Dancin' Everywhere Mirwood VG++ 5

Bob Relf & Earl Nelson backed by the Mirwood Orchestra, you can't go wrong.

Harold Burrage Got To Find A Way M-Pac! VG++ 15

Bit like Junior Wells, this guy specialised in 60s R&B dancers and the flip side is equally good.

Major Lance Everybody Loves A Good Time Okeh VG++ 15

One of about 20 releases the Major cut for this iconic label.

Short Kuts Your Eyes May Shine Pepper M- 15

Full-on old school 60s dancer, must be about time it had a few spins again.

Edwin Starr Girls Are Getting Prettier Ric-Tic M- 10

Not one of Edwin's more commonly known Ric-Tic outings but it's a blinder nevertheless.

Billy Gales I'm Hurting Shock VG 70

Sought after by the R&B collectors & jocks, offered here at under half price. OK for DJing.

Decisions I Can't Forget About You Sussex VG- 5

Not been cared for very well but should be OK at volume. Fasten your seat belts, it's a bit nippy.

Brenda & The Tabulations A Love You Can Depend On Top & Bottom demo VG+ 10

Where would we be without Van McCoy? Used to be the instrumental "Sweet & Easy" that was spun more.

Sandy Waddy Everything Is Everything Wand VG+ 15

Old forgotten Casino spin, uptempo as you like offered at half price.

Chuck Jackson I've Got To Be Strong Wand VG+ 10

You know you can't go wrong with this bloke, should be played more often.

Lee Rogers Cracked Up Over You Wheelsville VG+ 100

Fantastic double sider with "How Are You Fixed For Love" on the flip, and this is the scrarce correct spelling.

REISSUES ETC

Jimmy Thomas The Beautiful Night TB Super Soul VG+ 5

Mysteriously never released in USA, this is Tony Banks' label.

Exciters Number One OOTP VG+ 5

I think there were about 50 classics released on this label, some now rare in their own right.

Donald Height Talk Of The Grapevine Jay Boy UK M- 10

Back to the Twisted Wheel with this one, relelentless dancer.

Yvonne Vernee Just Like You Did Me Groovey Grooves M- 10

Full throttle dancing tackle very elusive on original Sonbert label.

Rosco Robinson That's Enough Wand VG++ 5

First released on local Gerri label, then Wand where it charted in '66. This is the 70s reissue.
