Hi Nige,

I'll be at both Move On and Stoke sir.

Move On is only 30 mins up the road for me.

So I'll be seeing you at both venues.:thumbsup:

I never worry about the ticket numbers - I know that whenever I go to Stoke it will be more than busy enough.

Is Carms birthday actually on the Friday?

I'll need to get her a card.

And I know I never follow up with giving you my address.

But if youi still have the footage of The Hesitations I'd like a copy please.

Julie, I was bit too young for Wigan at the time, however I somehow managed to blag my way in at other venues when I was about 13..lol..However from what Ive seen on videos and still pictures, and also what other soulies have said about the Kings Hall..they say it's the nearest you will ever get to it being like the Casino..

you could have sub-titled this one the togetherness"HOTTER THAN JULY" all-nighter, because its gonna be a boiler!!....70.25 hours to lift off!!, looks like a job for a translator with all the different dialects comin from all over the country!....sure they all understand what "DANCE" means!!:lol::D predict the rare room will be heaving with dave and adey in attendance.

One of the luxuries of grand buildings like the Kings Hall is sheer size.The venue holds 1,700, so there's plenty of movement on the floors, corridors, additional rooms, balcony etc. It's easy to lose partners for the whole night....SSSHHHH Don't tell May :thumbsup:

I am soooo looking forward to this night on sat.

Why has it been so long since the last nighter??

Hope you gotten the early morning late night daylight sorted out Kev??

It hasnt been that long, March was the last one. I dont know if your aware but there is a pub called The White Star directly across from the Kings Hall car park and we happened to call in for a couple of jars before the last all nighter. Anyway the dj was playing all Northern in there which was a good way of getting you in the mood before the Kings Hall.

I dont know whether this happens before eack all nighter but I believe a lot of folk are meeting up in there first tomorrow night so its a possibility..

Talking of vinyl, check out Alan and Sue on the Goldsoul stall.....over 300 £20 originals for Five quid each. Nice collection builders. In the Rare room from 9.30pm. Vestax ready too!

Kev, will there be tables set aside just for record dealers in the rare room or is it simply turn up and grab a space?

Also, will any non-record sales stalls still be on balcony or are they also setting up in the rare room?

No idea! Dealers constantly complain they dislike the balcony for sales, so the only alternative is the Rare Room(Windsor Suite) 7 tables only.

Now up to 10 dealers want space in there that we don't have.

It's a case of first come first served apart from the following who have booked stalls: Andy D, Goldsoul, Keith W, Sam, Dave Rimmer, Mace, Keith Min.

Anyone else on Balcony.

Only a few hours to go to what is gonna be one of the nights of the year.

Gonna order a curry from the takeaway now but will save some room for the Famous Wrights Pie later

That is if Nige don't eat them all before I get there!

Anyone still making their mind up Come on down to The Kings Hall tonight Sarah will be about for tickets..............

It's not Wigan but it's mighty close.

Hi Kev. What a fantastic night at Kings Hall last night. Could you compare it to Wigan what with the best atmosphere and the very busy dance floor and i mean packed dance floor, too right you could. It was awsome ive not walked into any venue that as soon as you walked through the door you were feeling the hairs on your neck stand up for a very long time. Right from when i walked in you could tell it was going to be a night of true northern soul. All djs played great spots and the dance floor said it all what a fitting tribute to all the guys on the decks spinning some top tunes that had almost every dancer staying on the floor cause if they left they wouldnt get room again. We wont ever get another wigan casino but we have got the closest there will ever be in Kings Hall and thats making soul history on its own merit. Great to see Debbie and her glowing leg,hope you will up and about on two feet in the not so distant future. A big thank you to Chris from long eaton for the lift i didnt think i would make it your a star. Cant wait for the next one Kev. KTF Diane ( jnc 26)
