Guest rosies dad Posted April 23, 2010 Share Posted April 23, 2010 I know there are a few different groups out there called The Chancellors, but this particular group comes from right here in my home town of Lincoln, Nebraska. They released just these two 45's around 1969/70. I've seen both of these on a couple sales lists here and there, but aside from that haven't heard of much interest in them.. they were a white group, and some of the members were also involved with The Fabulous Flippers of Lawrence, Kansas.. do these records get much play in the UK? most of the soul collectors around here seem to frown on blue eyed stuff, but i've always had a fondness for alot of it.. just wondering if they're popular over there? regards, Jacob Link to comment Social source share More sharing options...

I really do like this kind of sound, no matter how many times I listen it always sounds fresh & uplifting imo. Is the output with the Fabulous Flippers anything like the Chancellors?
