Jodie x Was wondering myself what it would be like. Used to go ages ago when Pep ran the venue. Hotel changed hands, not even the over 30's events were running. Apparently they started up again a little while ago and funnily enough the guy who ran those bumped into us when Col dj'd at yate's. He told us they were looking for a northern dj to start the nights up there and it sort of co-incided with our mates Woody and Lou looking for a venue. So last night was the first one, not in the bigger room - anyone turning up there walked into a wedding reception but once those bookings are out of the way, northern will be back in the Astor room. Very much what you'd expect at a local venue, known tunes but didn't recall anything that made me say 'not this again'. Good turnout for the first night I thought but not really a record collectors venue - I'll let dave Rimmer expand on that! Gaye Link to comment
