Bigsoulman
Just back from cloud nine after this fantastic night of rare soul. Well done to John, Alan and Ali for putting on such a brilliant night of classy tunes. To Mick H who's life will never be the same again after talking to two lesbians in a town center pub and for the top class tunes from his box, standouts for me to mention two were Arthur Willis & The Soulful Dynamics and King George, doesn't get any better, a brilliant spot Mick and will live long in the memory, and lets not forget Scotland's own Fraser Dunn despite being pestered by pissheads to play AC/DC or The Who produced a stunning spot rounded off with the incredible Margie Singleton unreleased acetate. Roll on the next time! Lenny Link to comment

Guest 45s and 33s
A huge thanks to Mick H and Fraser Dunn for serving up some very, very classy soul. It was great to see some new faces along at the Queens Hotel as well as our regulars from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and further afield. You've now left us promoters with a helluva task to try and better Saturday night. Ernie Andrews (aka The Charlie Adam Appreciation Society) - a female (and lesbian at that) double of me?? Exactly what were you drinking at the time - Domestos. Thanks again to all those who made it along to The Queens, hopefully we will be able to announce details of our next night soon. If anybody's interested, please click here to see the from Saturday night. The other playlists will be posted as time allows. Ali Link to comment

Dde
Aye it was you who put me onto it Davie soulmac. Thought this was a brilliant night. Even if you take Mick H out of the line up, the quality of music from John, Ali and Alan would have made this worth the journey. Nights of this quality make me think I need a change of career - I work far too many weekends and I hate to think this is what I'm missing. The CD kept the journey home enjoyable too. Thanks guys.
