I don't really spend as much time as i used to on the tinternet.

But if i am not on here,i spend a fair bit of time on you tube

watching and listening to videos.

Or music and film sites accumalating more knowledge.

Always read the news everyday on the BBC website,as i don't believe in

buying newspapers (Tight Git).

Been watching quite a few proggs recently on BBC i player,

as i do not watch much telly at all.

I did also used to look at a great house one that had great mixes on it but lost it, was it deep house or something, is it still around?

I have read all the articles loads of times - I always seem to go back re-checking and taking it all in.

I think it is one of the most fantastic sites on the net.

And if anyone has missed it somehow - go have a look - hour n hours of fantastic reading.

I noticed on there that someone mention another site. He said that Vince Montana and a bunch of the Philly guys have left Soulfuldetroit for another site, do you know what it's called.

didn't they have a falling out? The guy who originally ran it went and set up another Detroit Forum and Ralph Terrana taking the reins at SoulfulDetroit?

The site was called sixtiesdetroit.com but that site is dead. There was a big public fight on soulfuldetroit a few years ago involving Bobby Eli (who was very active) and other members and like half of the regulars left.

I never actually used the forum on Soulful Detroit, I just love reading the articles and the studio tours etc

I love the links to Detroityes.com and the Fabulous Ruins of Detroit.

Just fascinating for someone who loves Soul music, but has never made a trip to Detroit.

Its so not good when somthing as potentially brilliant and informaitive becomes embroiled in politics and fall outs.

Its just spoils the spirit of a site like that, and its the fans of soul music that are the only ones who loose out.

I hope it continues to be updated and maintained
