Absolute TOP night (for me at any rate)

Another trip up the M6 again, but with a bit of the 62, 60 & 66 thrown in for good measure this time, to be rewarded with some of the best music i've heard in a long time.

80% of what was played i'd never heard before, or don't remember hearing, & thats just what i like. No more boring same old, same old from "the book".

None of which stopped me dancing though

Derek & Killa have to be congratulated on a great venue & music policy. Anyone who goes to "Move On" in Coventry would love it.! Make the trip & enjoy..!

Great vibe all night even with a smallish (but really friendly) crowd & to top it all my old mucker Mr Brown & Carms.

Where do you find some of these tunes Bro.! I know he's my mate but Browny doesn't seem to get the recognition he deserves for the collection he has

All in all great night, keep up the good work Dereck & Killa because, in the words of the prophet.! "i'll be back"

Well worth the long journey, real nice music all night, fed through a crystal clear system, with a warm and welcoming crowd, all wrapped up in a cracking little venue ...

if you live within 20 miles of this venue there's no excuses for you not to try this one out :hatsoff2:

top marks ..

Hiya Derrick & Sheila,

Sorry I couldn't get there on Saturday but it sounds like I missed another good night over there. I've also had a good read of Carms blog, and I missed some excellent tunes too.

Will do me best to get over there next month. Meanwhile, have a great time in Brid and I'll sithi soon thumbup.gif

Had a fantastic Day Saturday and also loved playing at the Masonic , it was so nice for Paul Mick and Lucy to travel quite a distance and give us a bit of support .

This is one of those venues that has such a relaxed easy going atmosphere with always a great selection of superb sounds from the resident team to compliment any guest playing. the guys are such good fun to be with.

I was really thrilled to be asked to bring some of my records along and share them , also it's not often I have people coming up and actually ask me for a bit of R&B so it was great to be able to slip a few on. I felt the selection played on the night wa svery varied and a great emphasis on the underplayed was the main theme.

I loved the way the crowd accept and embrace those slower tempo tracks too

Come on guys show them all what you played , you all shined on the night.
