Steve Brown Posted August 1, 2010 Share Posted August 1, 2010 On behalf of The Swivel Club, I would like to thank everyone for their help in raising just under £600 on Friday night! As everyone knows, they will apply this money to localised good causes and will be featured in our local evening paper in due course. As usual it was a packer with our first venture into promoting live entertainment. This was a Motown based night but was none the worse for that with plenty of Soulies in attendance who seemed to enjoy the night. That said it is back to our roots for the October event with full on Northern all the way. It will be interesting to hear some feedback on Daves live spot. I think a few people were quite surprised!
