We're off to to celebrate my 40th Birthday around the 15th November for 10 nights in San Franciso, U.S. Anybody know of any soul events/dos on at all or any contacts would be most appreciated. I've found 3 DJ's on Facebook but am greedy for any more info if anyone knows of anything. Thanks.

if youre still here in san francisco on the 25th of november my pals Vinnie Esparza and B-Cause (Josh Bea), who both work at Groove Merchant records, do a party at a club called Casanova on Valencia between 16th/17th streets called Olde Soul. i wont say its strictly northern but a mix of sweet, funk, northern, and a little latin. nice party.

every tuesday night at the Make Out Room between mission st and valencia on 22nd(?) street is a slow soul night. they play r&b, sweet soul ballads and the like. i dont remember the name but my pal Primo does a few soul nights here in the city.
