Derek Pearson
I've had this record for years and years and usually about once a year I get revved up thinking "there must be a vocal to this somewhere". It's too good a sound not to have some vocal group wailing over it. The label details indicate a Philly connection so other musical contacts would have been easily possible. I'll make a sound clip and post up the question on Soul Source yes I will. I will..... Then I get distracted. I go to the toilet then make a cup of coffee and another year's gone by. Help me please. Let me get some closure hahaha..... I thank you, derek Some more background info on the 45: I do see it every now and then on US Sales lists for about a tenner, flip side is a reasonable uptempo group harmony type thing sounds a bit like Four Seasons "Sherry". It's not a secret who this instrumental is by - I didn't want to pre-empt replies by giving out details first. Will post up label scan tommorrow. The N - Calling All Girls - And yes I have tried tweeking its RPM up and down to see if it could work on a dancefloor. Link to comment Social source share
Prophonics 2029
Sounds like the Tempest and the Ascots, quiet good but a bit repetitive. Edited September 24, 2010 by Prophonics 2029 Link to comment Social source share
