Been playing both sides since I got my 45 and i think that the vocal to "Heavenly love " just edges it for me-but I can change my mind like the weather The Invitations have been consistant throughout the decades and this double sider may just be the tip of the iceberg for things to come. Louise Posted October 21, 2010 Share Posted October 21, 2010 Just sorting an interview with the Invitations for David Cole's " In The Basement" magazine and suddenly realized that the lead singer on "It Was A Woman" is none other than Bobby Shivers the ex lead singer of the Spellbinders who cut all those great sides, "Chain Reaction", "Help Me (Get Myself Back Together Again)", " We're Acting Like Lovers" etc,etc for Columbia.
