Guest TONY ROUNCE
checked out label here https://www.soulfulki....net/lupine.htm noticed that this record was issued on lu-pine 115 but is listed at the bottom of the page as also been issued on 002 is this a later issue? as lu-pine was a detroit label why the las vagas address? also note that lu-pine has change to lu pine dropping the hyphen only marks in the dead-wax are scratched in 115b and 115a any help would be much appreciated The LV adddres is pukka - Robert West, owner of LuPine, moved there sometime after 1966 and after LuPine had effectively ceased to exist as a source for new repertoire. I suspect that this is a 1967 release, to cash in on Eddie's success with 'Knock on Wood'. London issued it here that year - and for that reason - with 'Set My Soul On Fire' as the A side. Hope that helps a bit! Edited October 15, 2010 by TONY ROUNCE Link to comment Social source share
