DP's name on the WD is strangely spelt with one " R " as you state , whilst it is spelt with two on the issue . Anyone able to shed light on the reason why ? Chalky
is that the one with the female backing singers ? There is female backing on the issue as well? Thought the issue and demo were the same except for spelling? or are there releases without backing? Link to comment Social source share

Guest
ave thay neva herd of spelchek....... The dropped bollock was only brought to light after pressing of the promotion discs , and corrected for the issue . The mis - spelling of DP's name on the promotion copies was due to it being a Friday afternoon job , and the typesetter was in a rush to knock off and have a few after work cocktails . The typesetter was subsequently sacked , as the error was not a one - off , for Musicor executives discovered that he had scheduled print runs for The Platers , Gene Piney and Jammy Radcliffe . There Is A Demo With The Correct Spelling But Not As Rare As The Misspelt One Hence The Extra Rarety / Value !! Link to comment Social source share

Prophonics 2029
I didn't think there was any difference in the recordings but will have a listen to the K!ent CD unless its not the Kent CD that has the differences. Dean said he added the R so it wasn't spelt like the church spelling Edited December 23, 2010 by Prophonics 2029 Link to comment Social source share
