I assumed this was a boot (although I was not sure). However, on looking on Popsike I see a number of very similar looking records. Is there an easy way to tell? Thanks for your help. All best Ion The "dummies test" is to check the thickness of the vinyl, if it's really, really thin then it's an original, if it's on the thick side then it's a 70ts re-issue-boot type thing. Chalky Posted January 2, 2011 Share Posted January 2, 2011 Just checked the boot I have on the shelf. The "H" is definitely stamped on it although that is the only stamp. Thought he meant there were other letters stamped on original as well as "R". Seems H and I would be original as well as long as not boot with H.
