Guest
Hi Karen, just had a look at your site, obscure 60s soul and R&B sounds like my kind of thing. Can you email me the details of new venue, times etc when you get sorted? thanks Paul pauljdavis@oceanfree.net Link to comment

Dave
Popped over to NMD on Saturday and had a thoroughly good night. It "does exactly what it says on the can".......good dancefloor, top quality mix of rare 60s, a few carefully chosen oldies and R&B. Plus they are all friendly, enthusiastic people - organisers, Djs and punters alike! Link to comment
John May
A BIG thanks to the guy's for asking me to guest on Saturday night. Always a pleasure being able to spin vinyl not so often heard. Even more refreshing that you don't have to listen to rubbish like the Futures, the Brothers, Gayle Adams etc. A special mention also to Rob Gray, Steve Johnson and the Melton Boys, who also spun some excellent vinyl. I hope Kev has recovered from his bath accident. Give this Venue some support, they do deserve it. It is like an oasis of Soulful Northern in a desert of mediocre soul nights that blight the East Midlands. Some of my spins were, Gino Paper Moon Gillettes Same Identical Thing Sam & Bill I'll Try Drifters If you don't come back Pat & the Blenders Just Because Athens Rogues She could love me Kathy & the calenders Please don't go Bobby Angelle Too much for you Betty Lloyd Catching on Linda Lloyd Breakaway Jimmy Stokes Keep on going Tammy Wayne Have a good time Billy Bland All I wanna do is cry Shirley wahls why am I crying Etc Etc Keep up the good work Lads Link to comment
Dave
Thought I would bring this to the top as I've just noticed they have had to change the venue from the one on the original flyer. See events guide. Link to comment
