Citizen P
Hi all. Many Thanks to all that turned up to Live It Up! last friday at Walsden. Another great night of quality soul offered up for your approval with no preconceptions about what decade it came from -- if its good and soulful we'll spin it. Unfortunately Brian Walker couldn't show due to ill health but Paul Harris more than helped out with one of the best spots I've heard in many a long while(if you're looking at this Paul flag up your playlist if you can remember it) To remind you I went into a bit of a Motown frenzy and played amongst others Money-- Supremes(Getting to be our second anthem is ths) All I need --Temptations Good Rockin--Jnr Walker The Stranger--Gladys Knight Aint you glad you chose love--Gladys Knight Heartless--Matha Reeves Got to find a way--Temptations Pieces of my Broken Heart--Gladys (again) Not exactly ground breaking I know but cracking tunes every one IMO Again thanks for your support, see you last Friday in August Live It Up! when you can Cheers TonyP Link to comment
