SHAKE! Friday 7th October 2005

A nice selection box of tasty tunes this month, including a couple of new names to the Shake roll of honour.

Donna Driscoll comes highly recommended after her recent Sunday Snug soul set; Mickee of Tamla63 infamy is promising some boogaloo and hammond grooves; Paul Flynn mixes the R&B, Soul and Jamaican sounds; and Mark Raison will fill in the gaps.

The Pleasure Unit, 359 Bethnal Green Road, E2. 8ish til 2am. Admission: through the front door.

This is the venue where Kenny was furious because they wanted to charge him and it was supposed to be free, so he stormed off home in a temper.

Only problem was he was at the wrong venue, Shake is free but he didn't find out until the next day.

You neglected to mention that before he realised he was at completely the wrong venue Kenny had a massive rant about it on here.

Sadly he edited it as soon as he realised his mistake but I recall it began:

Shake? Shite more like!
