Treatment blazed on to Brighton's club consciousness on a sunny July evening, with the launch party hitting capacity before last orders were sounded. Whilst 300 disappointed punters danced in the streets outside, inside, folk moved to Keb Darge's priceless 70s Soul, Disco and Funk, and Jazz T's Hip-Hop scratching skills. Brighton's brightest rocked under the ballroom chandeliers of the Sussex Arts Club, with FinkFunk's interactive and distinctive visuals. Alongside Northern Soul boys and breakers busting moves and spinning the night away, the crowd were buzzing with that much loved summer party vibe. In the bar, Treatment Sound's Ion Mighty, Sir Finch and Fred had them dancing on tables with a floor shaking mix of Northern, Disco, Reggae and Hip Hop. Mr Darge was even seen swapping some crisp moves himself. Keb had such a great time he is returning for Treatment 2, Saturday 28th August, which promises to be the perfect balmy Bank Holiday tonic. He will be joined by Brighton's own Mex playing a get up and dance hip hop inspired set and Treatment Sound in the bar. We aim to Treat so, this time doors will open at 9pm giving you an extra hour of fun all for the same price. Also, promoters Anni and Ion wish to thank the faithful, and the first 200 through the door will receive the first Treatment exclusive free CD with £20,000 of hard to find tracks, culled from the collections of Keb Darge, Ion Mighty, Fred and Sir Finch.
