Epitome Of Sound - Boot?

Ok, so I have this on a cream label with red lettering - MS 3052 in the deadwax.

Tim Brown states this was never booted on the red/cream label

J Manship states these are originals but that they have 3 'hallmarks' under the label.

I realise that not all info from the dealers is absolutely correct, but can anyone shed any light on this.

THIS COPY DOES NOT HAVE THE 'HALLMARKS'

Can anyone help me sort out this dilemma please.

TIA

Julian

The "hallmarks" are at times very hard to distiguish. they are just after the rise in the vinyl from the centre spindle hole, on mine it looks like "21 Co" and is similar to Salvador markings I've noted ? as I said they can be very hard to find, so have a reeal good feel round the label in the area I said.

Dunno if this helps at all mate?

I've always understood that if this 'raised stamp' isn't present then it's a boot!!! (other people's words though!!!)

If you look carefully, it's just under the 'S'....you can feel it with your fingertips....it's braille-esque.

thing is, it may be under the S on your copy but could be anywhere on the label for any copies
