Guest HALIFAXFREESOUL Posted March 7, 2011 Share Posted March 7, 2011 My first trip to Monaco and the first of many. What a great atmosphere and cracking venue. Greeted at 9pm by Bob and Dave and a warm welcome from a real top notch friendly crowd. Cheap to say the least drinks (Three pints, two halves for £8) and some great great sounds from the early residents. Played my guest spot at 11 and thoroughly enjoyed it (if I was a little nervous) Would like to thank all concerned especially Bob Taylor & Dave Peet (absolute gentlemen) especially for looking after my wife and family while on the decks, Bob Brierley (the top man) for his warm welcome and framed print, Tony and Glen for their help and great sets (even if they did play Frank Beverley before I got there!!!) Also to friends Bob and Sue for coming over. Had to leave at 1230am as all the posse were starving just as Bob was playing some top tunes - but great great night Fantastic! Mark Link to comment
