Sean Hampsey
Just want to say a big thank you to all those who made the trip to Worcester's Soulful Sessions, in the most torrential rain ever, last night. Kev and I were privileged to be able to play our tunes to such a friendly, appreciative and dedicated bunch of people, who travelled from as far North as York... and as far South as Devon! Truly humbling. For those in the Midlands where this venue is on your doorstep, you are very, very lucky people indeed. Its definitely one of my favourite venues of all time and the guys behind it make sure that the music and guest policy is absolutely second to none. Thanks also to the hospitality of the promoters and to Rob in particular for the best fried breakfast I've had in many a long year. Am still in recovery mode, but am smiling from ear to ear. Bloody loved it. Thank you one and all. Sean Link to comment
Stillsoulin
Truly a pleasure Sean, thank you for the kind words about our little night, the atmosphere on saturday was excellant, music top notch, and so long as people keep turning up we will keep on doing what we do, as you stated, travellers came from far and wide, there may not be too many of us that like what we do, but those that do certainly make it all worthwhile, long may it continue. cheers for now, Rob h. Blake H
Better late than never we had a great time in Worcester last weekend and what a great venue, if we lived nearer we'd never miss one of these superb nights. Suitably fuelled by the superb Austrian pilsner in the Cardinal ( it really should carry a health warning!) Sadly Mr Farrell was away at a meeting!! in Prauge  so we will have to come again to hear his selections The music was superb from all the DJ's, thanks guys for a great night.
