Guest
There's an old thread about this, but I am not sure where to find it. However, I remember that someone had a picture of MIss Madeline, and of course, I was quick to snatch that ;-) She was in a group called the Baby Miracles, which performed covers of Miracles tunes. boba
that was the photo and info I posted. The Baby Miracles and Young Folk are the same group. The previous lead of the baby miracles (Marilyn McThune) became the lead singer of the Ivorys after she had a growth spurt and no longer looked like a little kid, Madeline replaced her. Ady Pountain
And going by the voice and nothing else I've always thought she is also Little Madeline on Blue Soul and Madeline of Madeline & Monticellos on De-Vel, both great records! There again I could be completely wrong!! Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Been saying this for 20 years but "Lonely Girl" is surely the best 'cheapie' Northern record out there - utterly brilliant and if a record can SOUND like it's worth thousands of dollars, it's this.
