Guest tony hatfield
A Massive thanks to everyone who attended for what was to me an absolute belting night great Music spun as always by residents John Tony and Trev. But my biggest thanks go out to our very special guest Dj Mr. Chris Holmes who played an absolute perfect hour of top drawer northern soul, it was a pleasure to see him so enjoying himself behind the decks . It was nice to see a good crowd showing their support to Chris and also keeping the dance floor busy all evening. We now look forward to our next evening of quality Northern and crossover when our guest on saturday July 2nd is Mr. Martyn Bird who always comes up trumps . All the very best Tracy Link to comment
Guest RichEvans
have to agree Tracy! First time at York Soul Club and we will be back very soon! Standard of music was immense.... was a quality night, every DJ played a great set IMO, was a bit worse for wear at work on Sunday morning though! Link to comment
Guest The Truth Hurts
I want to echo the previous posts ,even by YSC standards which are very uncompromising Chris Holmes played a blinding set on Sat night .You could hear the experience in his track choices and it was an uplifting sight to see Chris trying not to dance(he had to on certain tracks) and be a DJ for the evening . Like all of us he really loves his music .It does make a differance when the entusiasm is so evident to the room .It is appreciated Thanks T and T Playlists please . Kind Regards Martin Leach Link to comment

Phild
My first time at YSC. What can I say? Other than top class music, a discerning crowd and, last but not least, cheap beer What more do you need? I'll be back! Phil Link to comment
