mrs soul Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 (edited) I cant see any lookbacks so decided to start one, as I think they are as important as the event I always enjoy myself here, as I am with very like-minded people, and of course, our mate John bad boy Weston was one of the guests, and its always a pleasure to see someone as passionate as he is to DJ, we was a little late, as john got lost on the way to picking us up, bit we did manage to catch most of stevie "p". followed by gary holyman all with different styles of music , but all top tunes, missed petes set, but of course chic played a blinder, no naughty shenanigans this time, as mace was on holiday and every one was well behaved for a change always pleasure to chew the fat with mr pugh :thumbsup:all in all another top night notched up by chic and pete, few regulars missing but still very busy ! and this venue is soon becoming a firm favourite with many people. Guest chic Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 sorry for the late post::: another busy night, over 80 in and all seemed to enjoy themselves, like to thank the guest dj "s steve who was celebrating his big "60" gary holyman who i managed to sell a couple of records to, and my good mate john weston who is a legend on the soul scene, between them they played a really good mixture of sounds, a few new faces in who i spoke to and said they would be back for more!!! thanks lou for putting on an early lookback see you all next month thats if i suvive cleegy this weekend chic Link to comment
