Another good night for beautiful music on this midsummer soul session. Despite the fact that Cleethorpes was slightly wet on Friday did nothing to dampen the spirits of those inside. All revellers were preoccupied taking shelter under the umbrella of musical... cultural diversity, delivered in a friendly atmosphere which has become synonymous with the Cleethorpes Soul Sessions.

Always good to see the Scunthorpe posse with them being regulars, as are the Cleethorpes family Cox who are a posse in themselves! Also good to see Chris, Sue, Terry and Elaine from Nott's, hope you enjoyed yourselves, certainly looked like you did!

Finally a big thanks to the Soul Session DJ's who produce the goods time after time by delivering the essential range and taste of tunes which only years of experience can bring. None of us earn a penny for this service as there is no entrance fee. We do what we do for one common cause, and that is to keep this scene alive and fresh through our love of music!

Its a pleasure to play and attend an event which produces quality music month after month.

I could be accused of being biased towards this event but the scene has to progress and be fresh

regardless of what genre you are into in my opinion its SOUL music.

Thanks to all who attend hopefully a few more will get on board.

Great to see the Cox family there yet again , maybe we may even see the main man DJaying with us .
