One of the best 'finds' on the Northern scene of recent years has been Tommy & The Derby's 'Don't Play The Role' - just issued as a 45 on Garry Cape's Hit & Run.

Recorded in Jackson, Mississippi in 1966 and released on the tiny Swing label, it came to most people's attention after Butch began playing it covered up as Little Jerry Williams
