Guest Dave Turner
Out of his many great tracks Lets Straighten It Out is doing for me at the moment , a wonderful artist. Agreed, a wonderful artist. Up there in my all time top three and some days he's number one. IMO his more uptempo tracks are the his worst recordings, but that's me. Rightly known as one of the absolute greats. Guest Matt Male
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7ZNAtyv9_E Drop the first 47 secs and pitch up a touch. Love it. Doc You have your wish Chris, my copy has only a 17 second intro before the music kicks in and it's 3.55 long. Must be at least two versions. Soulstrutter
.... Have to say he's not one of my favourite artists (a lot of his material is a bit too raw. earthy, southern & bluesy for my taste but to each their own) .... What about his great version of Bobby Womack's - That's The Way I Fee About Cha From Bottom Line LP (only?) P.S. I notice this song was co-written by Joe Hicks (Don't It Make Me Feel Funky fame?) 1 Link to comment Social source share
