Out of his many great tracks Lets Straighten It Out is doing for me at the moment , a wonderful artist.

Agreed, a wonderful artist. Up there in my all time top three and some days he's number one.

IMO his more uptempo tracks are the his worst recordings, but that's me.

Rightly known as one of the absolute greats.

Must say i prefer Otis Clay's version of Nickel and a nail :thumbsup:

They're both great. I can listen to either without preference, depends if I'm havin' an Otis day or an OV day :thumbsup:

.... Have to say he's not one of my favourite artists (a lot of his material is a bit too raw. earthy, southern & bluesy for my taste but to each their own) .... What about his great version of Bobby Womack's - That's The Way I Fee About Cha From Bottom Line LP (only?) P.S. I notice this song was co-written by Joe Hicks (Don't It Make Me Feel Funky fame?)
