Released in 1971 on Invictus label "Trapped in a love" is a collector item on the rare soul scene and can be easily spinned both on northern & modern soul dancefloors . Sorry, but I'm not having that, oh no no no.... general johnson is a great singer, the songs just suck and aren't well written such i would want to listen to them. i only like their two hits dangling on a string and give me just a little more time. actually there are a ton of invictus singles (not just COTB) and despite the holland-dozier-holland a large percentage of them aren't very good. a lot of them sound like they were trying too hard to cross over pop.
