GLADYS KNIGHT & THE PIPS - STOP AND GET A HOLD OF MYSELF - MAXX M- 40 SOLD Totally brilliant and in mint condition LINDA LLOYD - BREAKAWAY - COLUMBIA DEMO M- 175 Absolute top copy of this fantastic beat ballad JOHNNY McRAE - I LIKE THAT GIRL / YOUR ANYBODY'S GIRL - DC EX 250 Two uptempo sides, in demand 45, production is a bit low-fi incidentally MYSTIC MOODS - ASTRAL TRIP - WARNER BROS DEMO EX 30 Old Wigan monster sound MAURICE & THE RADIANTS - BABY YOU'VE GOT IT - CHESS DEMO EX 40 Stunning white demo MISTY MOORE - LITTLE THINGS - PZAZZ M- 125 SOLD Rare 45 with a jazzy vocal. THE PHONETICS - PRETTY GIRL - TRUDEL EX+ 150 This is superb, criminally underrated track overshadowed by Just A Boy's Dream. Willie Hutch vocal? SYLVIA ROBBINS - DON'T LET YOUR EYES GET BIGGER THAN YOUR HEART - SURE DEMO EX+ 40 Good oldie, has a huge mark on the vinyl making no noise whatsoever, might be a manufacturing mark, dunno. Two small X's on label THE SAPPHIRES - THE SLOW FIZZ - ABC DEMO EX- 35 SOLD Nice original demo. Bit of label wear (rubbing on raised part), X on label. BUNNY SIGLER - GIRL DON'T MAKE ME WAIT - PARKWAY DEMO M- 60 SOLD Now here's one you don't see very often, a very rare West Coast white demo, 'two shields' design with the jumbled Parkway logo, looks absolutely beautiful - and what a track too LEROY TAYLOR - TAKIN' MY TIME - SHRINE DEMO VG++ 150 SOLD Much more R&B than the majority of the Shrine releases but I think this is the first one the label. In good shape but with a few pops and ticks here and there, small scratch for the intro. THE VONTASTICS - NEVER LET YOUR LOVE GROW COLD - ST LAWRENCE M- 40 SOLD Good uptempo dancer, the chorus of this sounds just like "I'll Keep On Holding On" to me PERCY WIGGINS - IT DIDN'T TAKE MUCH (FOR ME TO FALL IN LOVE) - RCA DEMO M- 75 Mint copy, tiny bit of pencil on label SCOTTY WILLIAMS - FEAR - MONA LEE M- 100 Stafford biggie LITTLE MARION - LET ME BACK IN YOUR ARMS - DESTINATION DEMO EX+ 60 Great copy, great backing, not sure about the vocalist! Rare one though, books at three figures. THE TONETTES - I GOTTA KNOW - DYNAMIC EX 50 Pounding female dancer from Texas BOBBY BASKERVILLE - GOTCHA WHERE I WANCHA - DOT DEMO EX 30 Forgotten Cats stormer KENT MEADE & THE REMINGTON SUNSHINE - FUNKY TO ME - MAGIC CARPET M- 30 Big revived 70's dancer a couple of years back ORIGINALS OF SIGHT & SOUNDS - LONG BOOTS - JJI M- 50 Someone should take a chance on this, what a belting dancer it is and with that great intro "boots, boots' boots"...love it JOHN ROWLES - WHAT GREATER LOVE - KAPP DEMO M- 30 Great version of the Jack Hammer / Little Anthony track, this was never released as a single in the UK. Vocalist is a bit of a pub singer, backing is tremendous THE WINSTONS - COLOR HIM FATHER - UK PYE INTERNATIONAL M- 30 Now rare UK release from 1969.
