He said Marvin Gaye, with whom he attended high school in Washington, D.C., helped line up an audition with Motown Records in the mid-1960s. Washington said Motown offered him a contract. So he would never have made a dime from the reissue either Fantastic tune , it's really good to find out the history behind these soul masterpieces ! Hi I've just had a message from the Pastor CT Washington , and he was due over here in the summer just gone , but couldn't make it he wishes everybody well and hopes he can get over in the new year!
