DUCIE BRIDGE

Been asked to review the New Century warm up held at the magnificent Ducie Bridge, as usual all my stories will be 100% truthful !

Firstly a mention about the 2 main fellows who keep this great little event moving in the right direction Steve Cato and Little Richard , they always make everyone welcome and never leave anyone out of the procedings, it is my pleasure to call both these guys good friends of mine. As usual this tremendous little boozer is crammed full of all sorts of wierd and wonderful charachters, Darryl from Blackpool graced us with his presence once more, and has took to bringing a suitcase filled with at least a months change of clothes, i swear when he opened the mystical case that he had a huge 1/2 pound of ham in there! I was unable to get to the bar much as Dave Rimmer decided he would attempt to drink the place dry, so i decided to check our 3 guest DJ's out, they were as follows Neil Felton,Martin Hopkins and the delightful "Little" Ann Andrew.

I managed to get hold of Neil And Anns playlist, but somehow Martins slipped me by. Neil Felton 7.00 - 7.30

Had a superb time as usual, the only spooky thing was Little Rich actually guessing correctly just about every track before it was played, i later found out that he indeed is a practising "spiritualist medium", and i delighted in telling my mate Smithy that later that evening he would see a vision of his dead great grandmother crawling up his leg with a dagger in her teeth!

Thanks to Neil Felton for allowing me to corner him in the bar area at NCS, and hammer the poor fellow with around 3000 questions, pleasure to meet you Neil (tape is halfway done).

Right i am informed that Steve Cato is thinking of doing an all-dayer at Ducie in the future, there is an upstairs room with dance floor, so keep posted and all details will be posted on the worlds number one Soul Site.

Dunno if Steve Cato and Little Richard got back safely from yesterday/todays overseas adventures as their gang got a later ferry, but got photos and report to go up later

Have pm'd you the stuff talked about

Thanks for post
