Stumbled upon this the other day on a blues , jazz site. It is a 49 minute long programme by John Rhys who spent 7 years in Detroit working with major soul artists. It was obviously recorded a few years ago. He tells you of his recollections and plays some great music too it is an absolutley awsome programme and is well worth listening to.

It is easier to use the Mp3 stream as the Realplayer ones seem to struggle to connect.

one highlight that looks like worth coming back to

BluePower invites it's listeners....new and old, to tune in to over forty different shows which trace the roots and changes of the Blues over the last seventy years.

Listen in as IKE TURNER describes the brutality of the southern justice system or to B.B. KING as he speaks of his life as a very young disc jockey in Memphis, Tennessee.

What's it like to release an album you believe will sell millions of copies (What's Going On/MARVIN GAYE) and then get fired for going over the boss's head (BERRY GORDY). Ask HARRY BALK. He did it!

What was it like being president of a major record company in the seventies and eighties? HARVEY COOPER gives an up front and personal look at that era of the American music business.

From talented new artists like ALASTAIR GREEN to Rock and Roll pioneers such as MATT LUCAS, you will always be assured of the finest in streaming Blues, R&B and JAZZ. The latter thanks to MICHAEL MARTINEZ and his terrific site....PMC JAZZ.

Stay tuned....great things are happening!
