Mike Shawe
It's on the up, seen it sell for US 450. Brilliant double-sider, very hard now. Not selling mine, however I've listed it on the site with full length sound clips if you don't know it: https://www.hotbutteredsoul.co.uk/sounds/g.shtml#gccameron2 Edited April 23, 2012 by mike shawe Link to comment Social source share
Alan T
I have a 12 and the 45 if you want to make me an offer. Link to comment Social source share
Sutty
I think Zaf's got my old 45 not the 12 for sale. We had an interesting discussion about this. He had the 12 and I sold him the 7, and he expected it to be the intro thats on the soul brother comp, not the 'drumming' intro. Turns out Malaco gave Soul Brother the wrong master and the one on their comp has a different intro to the released one. The released 7 and 12's are both the same version but the 12 is longer. SB didn't realise this til Zaf contacted them. cheers Sutty Edited April 23, 2012 by Sutty Link to comment Social source share
Guest Paul
Hello Sutty, The version of 'Live For Love' which is featured on the 'Wants List' album was mixed in the UK about seven years ago from the original master tapes. I licensed it to Soul Brother via Passion in 2005, it didn't have anything to do with Malaco and I'm sure Soul Brother knew they were getting a different mix. I've recently had license requests to issue this mix on a 7" single and I note it's also featured on a EU album called 'Deep Disco & Boogie' but I don't know which version they've used or who they licensed it from. Best regards, Paul Link to comment Social source share
