Jay - Tee Records - Johnny Thompson - doesn't take a genius to work the intials out...

Peritone - Change of letters but still evident that it's Oscar Perry

Halo Records - Religious overtones , Gospel label

Am I one the right trck or have I misread the question Mike ?

Shrine records were called Shrine by Eddie Singleton as a tribute to President Kennedy and the emblem is the Eternal Flame on Kennedy’s shrine.

Shrine’s publishing company was Ramitary and was formed by Eddie and his wife Raynoma; Eddie was born Eddie Singletary

Raynoma or ‘Miss Ray’ learnt her record producing skills at Motown being Berry Gordy’s second wife.

Berry Gordy wanted to have a record label called Tammy named after a favourite film (star) of his, but as the name was copyrighted he plumped for Tamla instead

Romulus:

i remember chatting to Trevski from York and he was wondering if there was a Remus label as well. not sure if anyone has any knowledge on this?

For those of you who didnt attend history lessons at school :D , Romulus & Remus were twins who were brought up by a wolf and later built the city of Rome. Well legend has it anyway :D

I have added an educational link below regarding the said twins :Dbeer.gif:D

Romulus and Remus labels both from Norfolk , Virginia, so your guess is good as mine, The Heart Attacks are apparently a US Garage band ?

El Camino ..Was named after the famous trail through the mountains

The design has the Mountains on the label..after the so named

"El Camino Real" which is a mountain trail from USA/Mexico border

The Royal Highway of the Interior Lands follows the Rio Grande River from the United States/Mexico border to Santa Fe. :)

useless but interesting
