Smith on several 45's.....didn't produce Easy Street though. As for Freda Payne, personally think it's a pretty poor effort and far too poppy. Surprised it was a Stafford track as thought Stafford didn't really go for pop stompers. Heard Freda Paynes 70s track "I get high in your memory" played out last week. What a difference! But a tip for Freda Payne would be her Mgm album 'let it be me'......Brimming full of haunting mid tempo......... Cheap lp ....was also reissued by Polydor in the early 70's I think...... Guest enchantedrythm Posted January 2, 2006 Share Posted January 2, 2006 I had this around 77/78 on the l.p how do you say i dont love you anymore arranged by benny golson, produced by tom wilson MGM e/se 4370 written by weiss and anisfield, frost music That copy i traded with Richard Searling in 78/79 for Walters and Sisters how long It did get a couple of airings at Wigan, but for some reason not enough for the sheer class of sound it is ive seen two copies, both stock, plus the one ive now got which is a yellow labeled D J copy i'll get a picture on later today of the whole so to speak excellent tune Link to comment Social source share More sharing options...
