Guest Brian J Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 I've had it for a few months now, seen it several times and even lent it out to a couple of non-soulies to enlighten them a little at least, of the scene and it's cultural background. What I didn't do was give them the CD that accompanies it. I thought most of the tunes were dross and the drama, albeit interesting in it's own right, was so far removed from the scene itself, it would not have epresented a true impression. It's great, just sit back and enjoy the whole nine yards......and the CD is great to...what is wrong with you people.........Royal Esquires, Emmit Long etc.........OK there is no Rubin or Ron Grainger...or F********** Tony Hatch , but as a rare Soul CD it is quality personified.
