Sad news another Great artist that will be missed

Gil Scott Heron and Terry Callier all in the same year. Something is very wrong with the cosmos.

I didn't much like Gil's most recent stuff, but I think Terry's last couple of albums contained some of the best he ever did.

A very sad loss.

Saw Mr.Callier at Trentham Gardens and The Jazz Cafe,absolutely brilliant. R.I.P. Sir.

Sad i never got to see him live, but his music will live on, a great for sure, RIP

Just got back from Spain and gutted to read this R.I.P. Mr. Callier one of my favourites written by him and sung by some Chicago group

Sublime and still send shivers up my spine to this day

The Daily Telegraph obituary also gave the release date of, "Look at me now" as 1962. I was surprised at this because it sounds much later but previous posts have explained the probable error. I remember this being played by Pep at Wolverhamton's Old Vic, circa 1987, to a fair amount of dance floor acclaim. Did it gain spins earlier elsewhere?

My internet radio station is just playing "Ordinary Joe", nice...............................
