Guest Johnny One Trout
Miss Golding of Old London Town sent me this for this Saturday in T'Smoke so if you are not Wigan Anniversarying and are in the Capitol check it out.. Dear groovy MENTAL Soul people, The leaves on the trees are falling... which could be a cue for a cheesy soul ditty, but we can go one better. Yes, it's the return of MonuMENTAL Soul, this Saturday - September 25th 2004 - back fully refreshed and raring to go after our summer break. We have the pleasure of welcoming Mark 'Binsy' Taylor of George Jackson Lives! @ Smersh and The Eclipse fame as our special guest this month. Binsy will be making his MonuMENTAL debut alongside the resident MonuMENTAL DJs Gareth 'Girth Devon' Donovan, Niki Golding and the one and only Mole - aiming to keep you on the dancefloor from start to finish with the very best in SOUL music across the board, old and new. If you've joined us before you'll know what to expect. A fabulous night of great soul music and great company at a great venue. If you don't believe us come along, drink some pub price beer and have a dance on the wooden floor and find out for yourself. The night runs from 8.30pm to 2am and it'll cost ya just £6 on the door. Get there early to have a root through Girth's boxes, you'll never know what you'll find! The Britannia is right opposite The Monument itself - just a 30 second stroll down the hill from Monument Underground station (District & Circle Lines, and foot tunnel to Northern & Central Lines), and it's within walking distance of Fenchurch Street, Cannon Street, London Bridge (just over the river) and Liverpool Street Rail stations. If you're coming by car, Monument Street is just off King William St - London Bridge and Lower Thames Street. There is plenty of free parking just by the venue, Monumental Soul @ The Britannia 20 Monument Street London EC3R 8AJ See you there! Niki, Girth & Mole xx Link to comment
