Rich B Posted April 28, 2013 Share Posted April 28, 2013 As a boy I saw it in the HMV shop near my workplace - and I knew there was an Ila Van record being played so I invested 75p - and was initially a bit disappointed....but I played it long after I got bored with the "Can't help loving that man". In my defence it was early '74 (still cold - can't be more precise) and I don't think I was the only one yet to learn the meaning of subtlety.
