Guest MrC
Wasn't it someone on here who bought that one on E-bay recently? (the one showing on popsike) Link to comment Social source share
Chalky
It was Richard's Chessmen cover up. Dunno where he got it, dunno if Rod sold it Richard but it ended up with Rod didn't it along with the COD's. sure Rod will put us all right when he reads this. There's a few DJs/collectors with a copy now. Link to comment Social source share

Modernsoulsucks
I bought the pair off Richard back in early 80's. My informed guess is that Anderson got them from a dj in Chicago. When my memory returns I'll give dj's name. A blank right now. He made records. Not Rodney E. Jones. ROD PS Lucky Cordell 2 Link to comment Social source share
Greg Belson
Richard Lewis played this back to back with the C.O.D's 'She's fire' at the last Seattle Soul Weekender a few weeks ago. Practically took the roof off the place! 2 Link to comment Social source share

boba
Ady Pierce told me that he had a white label promo copy. The first time I was at Lucky's house Anderson called while I was there which was funny. Apparently he was the first person to get him to sell 45s and got crazy stuff from his basement (which is lined with shelves). Now that place is so picked that you won't find a record that will be worth money in five years, let alone a record that is valuable now. Either way Lucky is a super nice guy. Guest
Ady Pierce told me that he had a white label promo copy. Really? When did he have that...it wasn't within his original Chicago collection, that featured many other top discs. Where is Des, he'd probably be able to confirm either way.
