I remember Randy Cozens playing this to me down the phone as soon as he had it in his sweaty palms, as we were both huge Arthur fans, and after al,most 10 repeats we were both agreed, the best Arthur song ever. Has it all, one that every true soulie should have and the one that will be escorting me down the slope as I shuttle off this mortal coil! Unissued? His life story makes a bloody good read too so if you haven't got your Xmas pressie to yourself sorted out yet then I suggest: Get a Shot of Rhythm and Blues: The Arthur Alexander Story Paperback by Mr. Richard Younger (Author) Fantastic yet sad read about one of the great unsung heroes who influenced everyone from The Stones to the Beatles to countless soul acts throughout the years.
