Michelle and I visited Nige last night, he is good spirits but will be in hospital for some time yet, he is trying to get on hospital radio to DJ and a copy of pete mckenna's nightshift (life at the casino) was spotted in the corner, having a crafty read. he is dying to get back on soulsource but the nurses will not allow him, but you know how crafty Nige is, so i am sure it will not be long before he's back on. I had a heart attack in 1996 I was in CCU for 10 days...then a week in a normal ward. I was discharged on tuesday.... That weekend I did Cleethorpes Weekender...including the obligatory swim in the pool on Sunday night. Looking back...I can honestly say...it was one of the stupidest most idiotic things I've ever done. The old boy was in good spirits and has got the nurses wrapped round his little finger,we had agood laugh and nicked a wheel chair to visit the canteen for coffee.I took him some magazines I knew he'd appreciate along with the Daily Sport ..... Plus hes not being released from hospital until after the operation .
