Dear Deirdre, I've Gone All Mid-tempo, Please Help

Recommended Posts

I've been spending my day off going through some records I bought recently and realised that I've gone all mid-tempo!

Is it something that affects us all from time to time?

Here's some of the stuff:

Compliments - Beware, Beware - Midas

compliments.mp3

The Superlatives - Lonely In A Crowd - Dynamics

superl.mp3

James Phelps - Don't Be A Cry Baby - Fontana

phelps.mp3

Jackey Beavers - Bring Me All Of Your Heartaches - Grandland

jbeavers.mp3

The Players - Why Did I Lie - Minit

players.mp3

If anyone is still awake after these, grateful for comments on my condition

Thanks

Paul

mmm....mid tempo. Lovely lovely lovely.

You seem to be in fine fettle to me young Paul. I've got a couple of these on tape somewhere & I shan't rest tonight until I've found them. And the Willie Tee! One of my all-time favourites, cheers Joan

I seem to be in that kind of mood today .... played this earlier ... had forgotten just how good it is ... not had it off since ...

Definitely going to start spinning this again .... Tip Top ....

Quite simply one of the (many) best records every made.

I'm sure plenty have got the September (Jones?) tune which was a big northern tune I think? I actually never played the northern side so I don't know what it's called, but the flip-side is an incredible deep soul cut 'I Go Crazy'. Check it out if you've never listened to it.
