A NEW THREAD, AS THINGS GOT TO SLOW, THANX FOR ALL THE CLASS TUNES, SO THIS IS THE TIME TO ROMANCE?.....

I THINK NOT AS IT'S THE TIME TO DANCE, ALL YOU SMOOTHS & SORTS.

One of the very best SOUL LP come from Lizard RECORDS / ABC, NF PORTER - NOLAN and this is by far the best 45 from the LP & the rarest "OH BABY" 5 STARS VALUE £30, SO KEEP ON KEEPING ON  ENJOY DAVE K AS ALWAYS

It's awhile since I've played the full LP but if memory serves me right there's another good track on it as well?

Cheers

Weekends nearly here so lets crank it up in anticipation.Rockin' R n B duet from two of the great voices on our scene.

Dorothy Berry And Jimmy Norman - I’m With You All The Way Little Star

Some of you might have to cover your ears for the next few days as I've got my R n B head on at the moment.Today's tune is up there with my all time fave R n B tunes, not an up-tempo dancer but a great plodder that presses all the right buttons for me.After been a biggie in the R n B rooms for quite awhile now still fills the floor when it gets played.

Little Emmett Sutton - Mom Wont You Teach Me To Monkey Federal

Yep, if it had been made a few years later it would probably have been a better version, but it ain't 'too disco-ed up' IMO..

Thought I'd post this cos I just found I'd got it on the groups LP.

Don't know what to make of it mesell, cos its a bit of a strange tune.

Apparently the 45 on Toast is quite collectable in mod circles.

Reminds me of one of those tunes that they'd play in a disco

on the 60's TV programme like the Avengers or Man from Uncle.

Everybody doin the Monkey, the Swim an the Jerk.

Ohh an the Cissy, where did that one come from?

Anyone want an album?

Joe E Young & The Toniks - Flower in my hand :g:

Driving Beat in Leeds for me tonight, last one at this venue before it closes so bound to be a cracker.Always a great mix of tunes & can't see tonight been any different, can't wait.

So today's offering is one that's having a bit of a revival at the moment having been a bit of dancefloor fave quite a few years back.Seen it listed at £200 recently too, that can't be right surely????

Little Bob And The Lollipops - Are You Ever Coming Home High-Up
