Hi Guys,

My ONE track for today!

Keeping on the Dells theme....... As a travelling man who spends many a day on "distant shores", this is a very apt tune for me!

The flip to "Make sure"  - "Does anyone know I'm here"

Have a great Easter

Dave

:hatsoff2: HI ALL, Have received some great & positive ideas about the thread, some are straight forward to employ, some are technical and beyond myself, skill wise, however there are members who use the thread, that could make or teach us best practice,

in particular is the issue about uploading records from your record box, as that is what the thread is all about, so, as a reminder the SOULSOURCE RECORD OF THE DAY should be a record form your record collection, not a CD COLECTION, the record put foreword should ideally is the one that you got some sort of quantum recall that day, so long as it is soulful to you, does not have to be rare as such, so the club is open to everyone on soul source, we all no that  some people have a alpha male status on the scene & have had every record ever issued, some of you may have a few thousand 45s (like me) however that takes years, So your record of the day must have some sort of explanation on why you have picked it, and also

information about the record artist label rated value, I will get back later, as I will try and get ready to go out  NICE ONE

Today's offering is one of those "other" versions?Only ever heard Gene McDaniels version played out but think this is a far better, slightly slower but far superior vocals?Never far away from getting a spin in Bird Tower, only a cheapie would think a tenner would secure you one?

:hatsoff2: HI lads thanks for the feedback also the Jive 5 takes me right back 74 at WIGAN CASINO (not that it's hard to do) That first 15 months was in my opinion top Northern SOUL, some brilliant sounds played, plus the all the top TORCH Sounds, Johnny sayles being a good example, Lorenzo Manly "swoop down" should follow SAM & KITTY then "My Loves a MONSTER" & for Wigan Paul Anka, Joe Hicks, Marvin Holmes Stanley Mitchel, when I play my records, the Quantum leap makes me remember where a record was first played & who played it, can you remember telling people it is a MECCA SOUND or a Tony Jebb  tune,

REMEMBER I WILL START A NEW THREAD LATER ON< now where is my DEX PX  DAVE K
