Aretha Angel superb!

That Sir Smudger is indeed superb. What a track - and I've never heard it before. There's much to be said for this thread.

Nice one buddy.

Following in the Aretha vein this tune is been played in modern soul rooms to a great reception

Re mixed feat marvin Gaye but was originally the flip of Arethas "I can't wait to see my babys face"

One step Ahead

Now then Gogger keep up old lad! :D

This is a stunning record with wonderful vocals, wonderful lyrics and a wonderful message. I posted it twice I think - but I'd be happy to see it posted once a week.

There's another record by the same name and artist - on a pink Decca demo which is an instrumental and sounds like a bond movie theme!

I'm getting a little bit like Gogger - can't remember what's been posted and what hasn't! Was thinking earlier that this should have been posted before now - now I'm about to post it I think I might have put it up. :g:

Anyway, it's better than Doug Parkinson imo - The Spinners I'll Be Around. Still sounds great to me.

Being Sunday (soz for the lame link...) here's Sunday - "Ain't Got No Problems"

Absolutely love the flip of this, also released on Chess.

http://youtu.be/Dgfast8MusY

and this fantastic piece of film of the Voices singing backing to Sunday Williams lead.

Now that may well be case young Diddy - but it won't be good if Paul (MrC) sees you flouting the rules! He'll be apoplectic! :D Some people can't access youtube files at work mate so one post with name and title and another with the link is really helpful.
