Morning All

Quiet weekend for me this weekend, just a local night within walking distance so will be having a few beers & listening to a few nice tunes. This is the lull before the storm as March is manic, got something on every weekend & even spinning a few 3 times at different venues which should be fun.So to get me in the mood for tonight I thought I'd shove up this old Latin dancer..............

Andy

Best description of anyone been drunk I've heard in ages was..........."he was walking like Trevor Berbick after Tyson tagged him"

Watch from 7 mins in to see what I mean

http://youtu.be/2qbwStryLMo

Cheers

Martyn

Tyson was awsome back then Martyn. He was never the same after his first defeat - the unbeatable monster had been slain. Changed his trainer and it was down hill all the way.

Just came across this as I was looking through some bits - I reckon I must have posted it before. I used to blast this out as I was getting ready to head off out for a niter - "stepping out on the town to the nearest disco". Which at the time was probably 90 miles away at Clifton Hall in Rotherham. Best soulin times of my life - with some great friends from South Yorks, Notts etc.

ZZ and Co - Ready For the Get Down. What a record.

Great stuff Mick. Curtis is really topical at my place at the minute - been playing a lot of his stuff of late. Much under rated for everything he contributed - writing, performing, producing - and the role he played in telling the story of black americans and furthering their civil rights. Mr Mayfield - we salute you Sir. :hatsoff2:

They were fantastic nighters weren't they Andy - oft over looked. And yes the Preston Street dancers with their whistles - fantastic memories of great times. Were you ever in the Charters Arms pub (up the hill a bit if my memory serves me right) for a pint before the all nighter Andy? I knew some lovely lads and gals from back then.
