Hi. Today on the Sitting in the Park show I did an interview with two members of the Gary, IN group Love's Children, who cut two singles for Curtom records in 1971. Despite having only a small amount of released material, the group has an incredibly interesting story. They were originally called the Domestic Four and then the Domestics, and recorded unreleased material for Hi, Stax, and Motown. You can listen directly at

Joseph Holman, a member of the vocal group, and Glen Ross, a member of the band, were in the studio telling their story. Holman is currently a member of the Milwaukee group Tweed Funk (who are doing a show here in Chicago on March 14th and who have released a couple of CDs) and Ross is a member of the group Midnight Crisis, who also are currently doing shows and who have an excellent unreleased demo that we play during the interview. The interview is very cool and definitely worth checking out.

You can listen to other shows and interviews with Chicago groups by going to my main page www.sittinginthepark.com Also, if someone you know wants to subscribe to this email list, they can add themselves at the following URL:

Thanks as always for your interest,
