Guest TONY ROUNCE
Nnearly all good so far, but how come nobody's mentioned "That Beatin' Rhythm", "I Don't Wanna Discuss It", "Soul Symphony", "(Girl) Why You Wanna Make Me Blue" or "Sweeter Than The Day Before" yet?... ....Oh, I see, I seem to have done it myself.... Actually the award for the greatest intro of all time, bar none, is won hands down by Reggie Young's simple six guitar notes at the beginning of James Carr's "The Dark End Of the Street". Those same notes at the end of the track also make for the best outro, in my opinion. TONE Link to comment Social source share
Guest in town Mikey
How about an understated intro, but one that gets the hairs up even when typing this. Martells - Where can my baby be? No blasting horns, no crashing piano, but like impending doom in a horror movie, you know the next couple of minutes are going to be an almighty adrenilin rush.
